WHAT SETS ME APART
While there are many freelancers out there to choose from, I truly believe my experience and communication skills set me apart. I have over 15 years of experience in the textile industry, primarily as a designer, but also as a product developer and merchandiser. My recent focus has been on printed patterns for mass markets, e-commerce, and specialty retailers, but I've also worked with jacquard, dobby, terry, tufted, knitted, and non-woven constructions. Familiar with both overseas and domestic manufacturing processes, I have a strong knowledge of the textile supply chain all the way through to point-of-purchase. My experience in the industry allows me to "hit the ground running" on client projects, while effectively managing my work load to keep projects on schedule.
BASED IN CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA
My studio is located in Charlotte, NC, USA, but the blessings of technology (Skype, Dropbox, etc.) allow me to effectively provide design services anywhere. For US-based clients, periodic face-to-face meetings are always a possibility. Should time-sensitive strike-off approval be needed, my location has the added benefit of being in physical proximity to a number of US manufacturers located in the Carolinas and surrounding area.
